So I want to engrave my logo onto a Stanley Metal Tumbler.

Originally I engraved it on the side without the Stanley Logo. Like so but I noticed a couple things afterward.

  1. The image looks to be more oval than round.
    1. Original Image
  2. The image is off center.
    1. My fault for not measuring right.
  3. It doesn't look right to have the logo facing me/in instead of facing away/out like a typical logo on a tumbler.

So I have a three possibly four questions.

  1. How do I make my round logo look more round and less oval?  (I had it set to a 75mm x 75mm, 80 power & 400 duration)
  2. What can I do to remove or cover up the Stanley Logo?  (This is a personal use mug and more for advertisement than anything. Like, “This is what I can do with my engraver!”)
    1. If the suggestion is to cover it up should I increase the settings on my laser? (XTool F1) Since I got a feeling it will just leave behind a darker green patch at the current settings like it did on my initial engraving.  Should I have it high enough to go down to bare metal and leave none of the paint behind?
  3. Should I just look for a tumbler that has no logo's on it and just use that for my project?
