just got my P2 and downloaded xcs on both my Mac, iPad, and new fusion5 with latest windows. Same message each time”cannot connect”

tried to upgrade drivers on all machines and still nothing but not certain I have been successful on doing this. Tried usb,Ethernet, and Wi-Fi to connect and still same message cannot connect. Any suggestions or help. I have printed trouble shooting steps but no connection. Could it be the P2 is a lemon and needs to be sent back. Thanks for suggestions
