Greeting Card Generator

Design a paper-cut greeting card that is ready to cut in minutes. Start from a template or a blank card shape, decorate the front with lace-cut corners, wreaths, borders and scenes — or describe your own and let AI draw it — and add your message in a font made for cutting. A contrasting insert shows through every cut-out, the 3D preview shows the card opening, and you export the card and insert as cut files.

How to Make a Paper-Cut Greeting Card

Pick a starting point, decorate the front, then cut, glue and fold.

01

Start from a template or a shape

Pick one of the ready-made cards — Floral Corners, Pearl Border, Butterfly Thanks, Be Mine, Snowflake Wreath, Haunted Hill, Birthday Cake and more — and change anything you like. Prefer a blank start? Choose a card shape such as Classic, Arch, Ticket, Scallop or Lace, then set the folded size: Standard 4.25×5.5", Large 5×7", Square 5.5×5.5" or your own.

02

Decorate the front and write your message

Decor adds a finished design to the selected half in one tap — a scene, corners, a wreath, a border, a window or a band — or you describe your own and AI draws it in a style that cuts cleanly. Add single motifs from Elements, then your message from Text. Drag, resize and rotate anything on the canvas, and drop a motif on the edge to blend it into the card's outline.

03

Preview it opening, then cut, glue and fold

Pick preview colours for the card and the insert so the screen looks like the papers you will use, then slide the 3D Preview between open and closed. Export downloads the cut files or sends them to xTool Studio. Cut the card and the smaller insert, glue the insert inside the back, and fold along the dashed line.

Lace-Cut Decor in One Tap — or Describe Your Own

The front of a paper-cut card is where the hours usually go. Decor gives you six ready-made layouts — Scene, Corners, Wreath, Border, Window and Band — each with its own set of designs, from Moon Bunny and Snowy Village to Victorian Lace, Peony Wreath and Art Deco Band. Tap one and it fills the selected half, and your text stays clear of it automatically. Want something no preset has? Describe it, pick a layout, and AI turns it into a design that cuts cleanly and drops straight onto the card.

An Insert That Makes Every Cut-Out Show

Lace cutting only reads when there is a colour behind it. Turn on Insert card and the generator adds a slightly smaller sheet, cut separately and glued inside the back, so cream lace sits over forest green, or white over red. Insert margin sets how far it sits in from the edge. Preview colours let you try the pairing on screen first — white, cream, kraft, blush, red, mustard, sage, forest, sky, navy, black or any custom colour — then match it to the paper you will actually cut.

Lettering Made for Cutting, So Nothing Falls Out

Type an ordinary font into a paper-cut design and the centres of letters like o, a and e drop out of the sheet, leaving holes where your message should be. Every font in the Text panel is a stencil-style face where no letter has a closed centre — from Stardos Stencil and Allerta Stencil to Big Shoulders Stencil, Black Ops One and Wallpoet — so the words you type are the words that survive the cut.

Shape the Card, Then Watch It Open in 3D

A greeting card does not have to be a rectangle. Choose from nine outlines — Classic, Soft corners, Clipped corners, Arch, Half arch, Bracket, Ticket, Scallop and Lace — or describe a shape for AI to draw. Card structure goes further: narrow the front with Front width so the inside peeks out, curve the front edge up or down, and set the corner radius. Your decoration adapts to each new shape, and the 3D Preview lets you slide the card open and closed to see how it all comes together before you cut.

A Card for Every Occasion

A cut-paper card says you made it, and the templates and motifs cover the dates people actually send cards for.

Birthdays

Start from Birthday Cake or Balloon Birthday, add a name in a stencil font, and put a bright insert behind the cut-outs. It is the card that ends up propped on the shelf instead of in the recycling.

Weddings and Anniversaries

Lace borders, peony wreaths and Love & Wedding motifs such as twin rings, entwined swans and a satin bow. Cut it in cream over a deep colour and it reads like an heirloom rather than a store-bought card.

Holiday Cards

Snowflake Wreath and Snowy Village for Christmas, Haunted Hill and a whole set of ghosts for Halloween, Easter Bunny for spring. Make one design and cut the season's batch from it.

Thank-You Notes

Butterfly Thanks and Floral Corners are made for a short, warm message. A small set of thank-you cards after a wedding, a baby shower or a new job feels personal without hours of work per card.

A Card Range for Your Shop

Change the paper colours, the shape or the decor and one design becomes a set. Seasonal cards cut in batches are an easy add-on for a craft stall or an online shop.
