Information

      I needed a cute souvenir for my parents' anniversary. Guest can take a memory home and actually use it.

This file allows for plenty of spacing for names (I picked relatively long ones to give you an idea.) 

Additional supplies: 40mm bottle opener insert, E6000 adhesive, Titebond 3 adhesive

Instruction

Step1: Cut the back layer

You will be assembling the bottle opener from the bottom up.

Open the file in XCS. Frame, then send to the machine to Process.

Step2: Cut the seat layer for the insert

Open the file in XCS. Frame, then send to the machine to Process.

Step3: Cut the top layer

Open the file in XCS. Frame, then send to the machine to Process.

Step4: Check the fit

Lay the layers together. Start with the Back. Lay the Seat on top of that. Lay the Top as the final layer. Make sure all of the openings line up.

Step5: Gluing the base

Spread Titebond 3 on the bottom of the Seat layer. Place the glued side on top of the Back layer. Be sure to keep the shapes lined up. Allow to dry for 30 minutes.

Applying the glue this way, keeps the seat opening clear to glue the bottle opener insert in properly.

Step6: Glue the insert

Preview

Apply E6000 to the entire circular opening. Place the bottle opener insert in the circular opening. Allow to dry for a minimum of 4 hours. The glue will cure completely in 24 hours.
