Engravable Jewelry Blanks for xTool Machines

Fifty-seven lines of jewelry blank, sized for engraving out of the pack. Stainless steel bar pendants, brass signet rings, 925 silver, cuff bracelets, chains and dog tags. Bare metal needs a fiber or MOPA source — anodized and coated pieces mark on a diode.

57 Blank Lines, Already Sized and Drilled

Vertical and horizontal bar pendants, heart and envelope necklaces, cuff bracelets, paperclip and tag bracelets, signet rings in brass and 925 silver, geometric earrings, dog paw pendants, chains and jump rings.

The point of a blank is that the hole is already there and the finish is already even. You are buying the part of the job that is tedious rather than creative.

Bare Steel Needs Fiber. Anodized and Coated Mark on a Diode.

Almost every blank here is bare stainless, brass or silver, which means a fiber or MOPA source at 1064nm — the beam anneals the surface rather than removing a layer.

Community records back this up: a 1.8mm round stainless dog tag engraved at 200 mm/s and 80% on an F2 Ultra, brass embossed at 900 mm/s on an F1 Ultra. On a diode machine you would need a marking spray first.

Pick the Piece

Every line is stocked in multiples, because jewelry sells in sets.

Bar and tag pendants — Engravable Jewelry Blanks for xTool Machines

Bar and tag pendants

Vertical and horizontal bars, embossed squares, waterdrops. The flat, forgiving place to start — a bar is all engraving surface.

Necklaces and chains — Engravable Jewelry Blanks for xTool Machines

Necklaces and chains

Heart, envelope, locket and camera pendants, plus chains and jump rings sold separately so you can build sets.

Bracelets and cuffs — Engravable Jewelry Blanks for xTool Machines

Bracelets and cuffs

Cuff, tag and paperclip bracelets. Curved surfaces, so the beam goes out of focus away from the centre line: a rotary attachment turns the piece to keep it in focus, and a jig holds it steady. Engraving shallower does not fix focus on its own — it only limits how much of the curve you try to cover.

Rings and earrings — Engravable Jewelry Blanks for xTool Machines

Rings and earrings

Brass and 925 silver signet rings, adjustable bands, geometric and waterdrop earrings. The smallest work, and the least forgiving.

Which xTool Machine Is Best for Jewelry Blanks?

Bare metal is a hard gate: fiber or MOPA, or a marking spray first.

xTool F1 Ultra — materials tested on it

xTool F1 Ultra

20W fiber + 20W diode. The entry point for bare stainless, brass and silver. Compact enough for small parts.

xTool F2 Ultra — materials tested on it

xTool F2 Ultra

60W MOPA + 40W diode. Adds colour marking on stainless, and the speed for batch runs of the same pendant.

xTool M2 — materials tested on it

xTool M2

Diode plus infrared modules. The IR module handles coated and anodized pieces; bare steel still needs fiber.

xTool S1 — materials tested on it

xTool S1

Enclosed diode, 20W or 40W. Coated and anodized blanks only. For bare steel you would add a marking spray.

Why Start From a Tested Setting

The hole is the hard part

Drilling a clean, centred hole in a 1mm pendant is fiddly and easy to ruin. A blank arrives with it done and deburred.

Batch consistency sells

Twenty hand-cut pendants vary; twenty blanks do not. For anything you list for sale, consistent stock is what makes the listing photos match the product.

Bare metal is a laser-type gate

No power setting makes a diode mark bare stainless. Knowing that before you order 50 pendants is the whole point of checking first.

Curved pieces need a plan

Rings and cuffs are not flat. A rotary attachment or a shallower engrave keeps the mark even across the curve.

FAQs

What are engravable jewelry blanks?

Undecorated jewelry components made to be personalised — bar pendants, tags, cuffs, rings and earrings. Most arrive cut and finished, and many are already drilled for a jump ring, but that varies by line, so check the product page for holes, thickness and plating.
