I have a 5w D1 Pro that I have mostly used with wood so far but I had a sheet of clear acrylic and thought I'd see if I could get it to engrave.

After trying a lot of different settings it has engraved by placing a black metal business card under the acrylic but the results aren't great. I have read that using black paint can help which I haven't tried yet. 

If anyone has any suggestions or advice it would be greatly appreciated.
